Much, MUCH later than usual, but the 2016 calendars are going to press this afternoon. Stay tuned...and as always, click to enlarge:

Coma, the Doof Warrior, from Mad Max: Fury Road

Or as it should be called, Furiosa Road. I know I'm late to the game with the Mad Max fan art, but fuck it, I can't get enough of this movie.

And I know it's a bit cryptic, but yes it does say 'Mad Max' someplace. If you can find it, cool. If not, you can click here for the cheat.

>Fun!<

Batman Fluxx Poster

Here's a poster I did a while back for DC Comics and Looney Labs. This has a fold in the middle and will also be used as a magazine ad, so there's a vertical space right up the middle where I didn't want anything vital. What I decided to do was to divide the space into two warring halves, good guys and bad guys. And like my Regular Show poster, I wanted to have the characters facing off with Fluxx cards in hand. Here's my AI vector sketch.

Unfortunately, due to corporate guidelines, characters cannot touch product or logos (notice how close Robin gets to the Fluxx logo without touching). So realizing that, I decided the faceoff still worked, even without the cards. Here's what we ended up with:

Coma Doof

Rough idea for a Fury Road poster, and I know if I post it up here, I'll have some pressure on me to finish it...this is just thumbnails and computer lines thrown together. I think I don't want fire coming out of the guitar, maybe dripping fuel...we'll see.

Widing Cross Country

Got asked by my friend Eric Widing to design a logo for his cross-country charity bike ride. Few times have I had a logo that comes together so well.

Originally, his request was for something called 'Eric Rides'. Instead, I suggested "Widing Cross Country", since he's RIDING cross country. Other options include "I AM Widing Cross Country", since he's Widing…and he's riding cross country.

Also, I wanted to use the map-shape of the US as a bicycle, but it just looked like a blob with wheels. It needed highlights to form the bicycle, so let me see what route he's taking, maybe I can somewhat trace the route...? He starts his ride in Boston and ends in San Francisco. Yes! So, the start and end of the bike highlights correspond with the start and end of his ride.

And as an added bonus, the handlebars are a giant embodiment of Cape Cod. As I always say, you can tell when someone is from New England. Just have them draw a map of the US; they will draw Cape Cod the same size as they draw Florida.

Ha!

Hardware Poster

Watched this movie for the first time last night. Thought I'd make a quickie poster of it. I should be doing this more often.

New Package Design

Been nuts here the past few weeks. 3 posters, 3 game box designs, 12 toy package illustrations, a t-shirt design, 2 illustrated environments (don't even ask), yesterday I spent as one of five judges for the 2015 Connecticut Art Director's Club Annual Show, judging 400+ pieces of video, print, illustration, web, etc.

And let's not forget rebranding for my old pal, Dr Gonzo, creator of some of the world's most creative hot sauces, mustards and relishes.
Introducing... Dr G's Private Stock:

As always, click to enlarge.

There are 15 labels total, each with clever quotes and colors, can't wait to get my hands on some and share some photography!

The Flock of Assholes vs Narragansett!

Got asked by Narragansett Beer and the 80's cover group Flock of Assholes to do a t-shirt/poster design that features both...gotta capture the essence of 6 different band members and all their costumes, and the beer, and the chaos, and the logo, and keep that logo PG-rated...click to enlarge.

Yeah. That is Alf.

Moped Knights

Got to do a movie poster for my buddy, Mike Pecci over at McFarland and Pecci. He's got a side project he's been working on called:
